Kingmakers Cigars, known for collaborations with WNBA star Kelsey Plum and the band Midland, has announced its latest release: VERSA by Carmelo Anthony. The cigar will debut in a single 6 1/2 x 54 gran toro vitola, featuring a Habano 2000 wrapper, a Sumatra binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. While Kingmakers confirms its cigars are produced in Nicaragua, the company has not disclosed the specific factory.

Each VERSA by Carmelo Anthony is priced at $22.50 on the Kingmakers website. The company plans to sell the cigar directly and through select retailers, with shipments expected to begin in late March.

“VERSA is more than just a cigar; it’s a reminder to stay focused and committed, no matter the challenges,” Anthony stated in a press release. “I wanted a cigar that reflects my journey and passion for storytelling. Partnering with Kingmakers has been an exciting opportunity to bring this vision to life with the craftsmanship and quality that reflects my story.”

Anthony, who won a national championship at Syracuse, played in the NBA from 2003 to 2022. Over his career, he was a 10-time NBA All-Star and was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, honoring him as one of the greatest players in league history.
